Construction Billing Clerk

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Review and verify billing data and ensure accuracy of financial documents
- Enter financial transactions into the accounting system with attention to detail
- Monitor customer accounts for any discrepancies or outstanding balances
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing issues and answer customer inquiries
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to company policies and procedures
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing and accounts receivable

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or similar role
- Familiarity with technical accounting terms and concepts
- Proficient in using Sage or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Basic understanding of financial services and accounting principles
- Excellent 10-key typing skills for efficient data entry
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations quickly and accurately
- Knowledge of governmental or corporate accounting practices is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
