About the Role
As a Construction and Equipment Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of food and beverage services for dining experiences. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction, equipment operations, including planning, procurement, maintenance, and utilization. Your expertise will contribute directly to creating an exceptional experience for our guests from behind-the-scenes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans to ensure timely and efficient construction equipment operations including bidding general contractors and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project requirements and establish clear goals and objectives.
- Manage and coordinate equipment and décor/furniture procurement processes, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and on-time delivery.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records to optimize equipment utilization and reduce downtime.
- Oversee regular equipment maintenance and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards while communicating with the location’s onsite management team.
- Identify areas for operational improvement and implement innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Conduct regular inspections to assess equipment condition, identify potential issues, and develop proactive maintenance plans.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and maintain positive working relationships.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role in construction or food service equipment.
- Strong knowledge of construction equipment, tools, and technologies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to overcome challenges.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
- Proficient in using project management software and tools.
- Commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and compliance standards.
