Job Description
Summary: Seeking a Constructability Manager/Construction Manager with at least 10 years of site construction supervision experience to coordinate and resolve issues between Industrial Engineering and Site Construction over multiple projects.
Job Requirements:
Coordinate and help resolve issues between Industrial Engineering (at the New Orleans office) and Site Construction (Indonesia) over multiple brownfield (and some greenfield) projects
Spend more time at the site initially, then rotate, and finally spend most time in the New Orleans office
Identify and mitigate constructibility issues in design in collaboration with Engineering
Work with Engineering, scheduling, and procurement to ensure efficient execution of construction
Must pass a physical exam to go to site
Must have or be able to obtain a US passport
Preferred Skills:
College degree
Experience with international projects
Record of successful brownfield projects
Some large greenfield project experience
Proficient in different disciplinary parts of construction (i.e. Civil/Structural/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation)
Proficiency in construction sequencing and simultaneous operations
Experience in mining
Responsibilities:
Work effectively with Engineering and site Construction teams
Display strong leadership and problem-solving attributes to encourage and strengthen teamwork
Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
