CONSOLIDATED COURIER, FLOAT

Sentara Healthcare is currently seeking a Full Time Courier based out of our Military Hwy location in Norfolk, VA. The schedule will be full time, rotating shifts. Will be required to learn 7 weekend routes and 8 weekday routes and will be scheduled off every other Monday and Tuesday. Will be required to float Wed through Sunday most weeks including long-distance routes on the weekends.

Picks up and delivers various items such as deposits, medications, equipment, supplies, x-ray films, lab specimens, letters, marketing materials and packages. Required to operate vehicle safely, keeps vehicle clean and well maintained; maintain vehicle safety logs and submit requests for vehicle maintenance/repairs in a timely manner. Tracks lab specimens, reports, supplies and all barcoded items.

Required Qualifications:

• HS Grad or Equivalent
• Valid Driver License
• Courier experience preferred
