Reports to: CONRAC Operations Manager

Status: Non-Exempt

1. Job Purpose/Objective:

The Oahu Airport CONRAC Dispatcher shall maintain communication with all CONRAC vehicles and drivers at designated areas at the Honolulu International Airport (HIA) and assist with the loading of customers and baggage at the curb side locations.

2. Essential Job Functions:

Incumbent may perform any or all of the following:

• Incumbent may perform any or all of the following:
• Communicate flight information between all airlines and to ensure support requirements are met for the CONRAC operations
• The dispatcher will communicate through a push-to-talk radio to all vehicles and drivers effectively dispatching the movement of vehicles in and around the airport facility
• Must be able to communicate and convey detailed instructions to other workers accurately
• Greet and instruct customers on airport location of RAC facilities and shuttle operations

• Report any damages, maintenance problems or safety hazards to the Supervisor.
• Assist management in various operational duties through the shift.
• Maybe assigned other duties as needed by the Manager on duty.

3. Essential Skills (Minimum qualifications individual must possess when entering position) – i.e. skillsets, education, certifications, etc.

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to work flexible shifts – weekends, holidays, various times of the day.
• Communicates well both verbally and in writing, shares information and ideas with others has good listening skills, effectively communicates direction, instructions, messages, etc.
• Able to handle complaints, communicates with employees, handles problems politely and efficiently, follows procedure to solve problems, maintains pleasant and professional image
• Able to multi-task with the spirit of ALOHA- answering multiple ringing lines, answering and directing radio calls

4. Working Conditions/Job Environment

• Must be able to stand, walk and sit for extended periods of time.

• May be exposed to environmental conditions commonly found at airport.
• Require to lift and carry up to 20 lbs regularly and on occasion up to 50 pounds
