Congressional Analyst

JRAD is seeking candidates for an immediate fill position supporting the Director of Air Force Civil Engineers, AF/A4C. This position is a hybrid position with telework and onsite requirements in the Pentagon.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, develop, and maintain Statutory and Legislative Analysis governance and programmatic documents (e.g. AFIs, policies, budget cycle milestones, Congressional Items of Interest (IoI).
• Coordinate and develop action plan(s) recommendations; task and inquiry responses; and issue resolution action plan(s) under AF/A4C program management oversight.
• Provide updates to AF/A4C, Congressional leaders and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, developing and presenting associated meeting materials.
• Updates require knowledge of current Congressional news (e.g. Legislative Digest, Congressional Quarterly Today and other media productions/outlets) and programs impacting AF CE.

Required Skills and Education:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree Required
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with extensive knowledge of Defense appropriations and authorization committees and legislative engagement requirements

• DoD Secret is required
