SUMMARY:

Lincoln Electric is seeking a Supplier Coordinator for our headquarters located in Euclid, Ohio. The Supplier Coordinator supports the Supply Management function by coordinating the logging, reporting and return of products to suppliers. The Supplier Coordinator plays a key role as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Lincoln companies and affiliates in the process of returns to supplier and will develop professional business relationships internally and externally.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• The Supplier Coordinator will oversee the receiving of all non-conforming purchased material into the Supplier Conformance area.
• Direct the logging of all records of rejected material into the company database. This will include searching the SAP Purchasing System for relevant information such as purchase order numbers, work order numbers, supplier numbers, etc.
• Work with Suppliers, Supply Management, Quality Assurance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Engineering, Accounts Payable and other areas as needed in the course of completing the RTS process and any associated reporting
• Contact suppliers to obtain return authorization and coordinate material to return to vendor.
• Generate disposition and status reports from the SAP database and coordinate the constant movement of rejected material.
• Assign and oversee the duties of the Assistant Supplier Conformance Coordinator.
• Ensure all functions associated with the processing and disposition of rejected material are completed, including the proper debits and charging of accounts.
• Become the Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the Return To Supplier (RTS) process and train others on this process globally.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Good electrical, mechanical aptitude, two years post high school training is preferred.
• General knowledge of print reading, mechanical, electrical and assembly procedures.
• Experienced in manufacturing procedures, engineering specifications and quality standards.
• Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with people
• Excellent organizational skills required to handle accurate record keeping and reporting.
• Capable of lifting a maximum of 60 lbs.
• General computer skills and familiarity with Windows and SAP or similar systems.
• Towmotor certification is required.
