Configuration Manager will manage the configuration management database (CMDB) and works with the Configuration Control Board (CCB) to submit, seek approval for, and implement changes.? Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Managing Configuration Items (CIs) within the CMDB.
- Lead configuration change request process.
- Engaging with Procurement Team to renew contracts, licenses, and maintenance for Cis.
- Identifying non-compliant Cis.
- Auditing CMDB and updating CI records as necessary.
- Updating and writing Configuration Management processes as necessary, and?leading efforts to implement desired enhancements.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience with ServiceNow as a CMDB.
- Experience working government procurements.
- Experience in various HPC systems, various HPC technologies:
- Cray/Cray EX, IBM, SGI, Penguin, or custom architectures
- Linux variants OS
- InfiniBand (IB), Intel Omni-Path interconnects
- Portable Batch System (PBS), Simple Linux Utility for Resource Management (SLURM), or IBM Platform Load Sharing Facility (LSF) schedulers
- Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC, or ARM CPUs
- Nvidia graphic processing units (GPU)s
- ITIL Foundation
- Must possess a current, active secret security clearance to start, and be able to obtain and maintain a top-secret clearance.
