POSITION SUMMARY
- Commercial Driver License, Class B is required. Class A. Preferred with No Restrictions.
- Full time; Pay: $20 - $35 / HR – based on experience and size pump candidate is willing/able to operate
- Typical work week is Monday – Saturday; working hours can be very irregular
- The position is accountable for the operation of a Concrete Pump truck that includes, but is not limited to, driving to the job site, setting up the Concrete Pump, and pumping the concrete to the desired customer location on job site.
- Perform basic maintenance and clean equipment to keep it in peak condition.

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Commercial Driver License, Class B is required. Class A. Preferred with No Restrictions.
- Must pass DOT physical & drug test

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
The basic responsibilities of the Pump Operator include, but are not limited to the following:
- A pre-trip inspection of Concrete Pumps pursuant to DOT regulations. The pre-trip inspection includes checking fluid levels of engine oil, antifreeze, tire pressure, brakes, and other driver-operated controls such as hydraulic systems, line systems, and hydraulics.
- Loads and unload Concrete Pump attachments and ensures that all associated tools are used in a safe manner.
- Fills water tank before each project by placing rubber hose into a water tank and filling after checking that all valves are shut.
- Safely drives to the project site that is assigned.
- Uses map book and experience and takes the most direct route to the job site to ensure on-time service.
- Safely drives Concrete Pump into a site and works with the customer to set up the pump in a safe position.
- Pump concrete pursuant to customer desire with respect to yards per hour in the safest manner.
- Upon completion, the operator will clean out pump systems in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Keep pump dispatch informed as to the status of projects.
- Prior to leaving the job site, the driver is responsible for completing all paperwork and collection of monies if necessary.
- Each operator is expected to perform a post-trip inspection of the Concrete Pump pursuant to DOT standards and communications with maintenance are imperative.
- If not billed out on a pump and called to work, the operator may be asked to work or clean on a pump, assist at a batch, or do other related duties.
