Concrete Crew Member

Job Summary:

Ground Works Land Design is seeking an experienced Concrete Laborer to become part of our growing company. This candidate will be a skilled laborer, who can support the Concrete Foreman in maintaining client properties and projects. We support an environment of growth and opportunity – we promote within! Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities

• Pouring and finishing of flat work, footings and wall work
• Mix and pour concrete
• Setting forms and tying rebar
• Address customer concerns as they arise and communication with clients upon completion of work
• Proficiently operate a variety of landscaping and construction equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, work site and equipment
• Complete all production related digital timesheets
• Positively promote company culture
• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience with excavation, grading and demo work
• Stamped concrete experience not required, but preferred
• Knowledgeable with the operation of various power tools and tape measure
• Perform other duties as assigned
• 1 or more years’ experience in Landscape industry or construction
• Able to lift more than 50 lbs.
• Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work outdoors and in noisy areas for extended periods of time
• Able to work successfully with limited supervision
• Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
• High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

No direct supervisory responsibilities
