Pay Range: 53,000 - 65,000 per year.

Job Summary: The Concessions & Retail Manager oversees all Warehouse, Gift Shop and Concessions departments. Sourcing and ordering product lines related to F&B, directing inventory control processes/procedures, and overseeing personnel management in recruiting, hiring, payroll and overall employee development.

Requirements

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Handle sourcing, purchasing, and inventory-oversight of food/beverage items for on board sales, gift shop inventory, non-retail/employee use, and DSNGRR/AHR special events
• Plan, develop and implement strategy for the storage, pricing, and control of all product lines in an efficient manner which maximizes gross margins and meets initiatives as formulated with DSNGRR Management Team.
• Assist in development of annual operating budgets, including labor and expense lines while achieving budget projections.
• Oversee the development and implementation of staff training programs and department manuals with Warehouse Supervisor, Gift Shop Supervisor and On-Board Concessions Supervisor
• Work with the AHR Retail Manager in the fulfillment of merchandise. 
• Oversee fulfillment of merchandise to include Purchase Orders, billing, shipping, stocking, POS entry, markdowns, and adjustments.
• Perform regular and impromptu inventory audits for food/beverage/liquor/retail items.
• Regularly review pricing strategies, product line placement and sales attainment throughout the year to ensure pace with budgeted forecasts.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with proper cash handling and sales accounting of company merchandise and funds.
• Review and approve departmental schedules and ensure employee timecard approvals are submitted biweekly.
• Oversee and ensure compliance with governmental/company regulations including safe food handling and alcohol sales.

Education, Skill, and Work Experience Requirements:

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience with demonstrated knowledge in Food & Beverage and Retail Sales within the customer service industry.
• Experience using POS and inventory control systems with a strong command of basic accounting principles and profit/ loss statements.
• High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, with specific emphasis on Excel
• Experience working in a high-volume, multi-faceted sales environment involving front-of-house and back-of-house management, preferred.
• Warehouse experience with a focus on procurement and supply/chain management, preferred.

Work Environment:

• Some time spent working in uneven or unsteady spaces while train is in motion.
• Varied schedule including evenings and weekends as needed to accomplish required tasks.
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds regularly.
• Some time spent working in office settings, retail settings, and warehouse settings.
