SalaryAn employee in this class is responsible for duties related to the maintenance and operation of a concession stand and admissions gate under the direction of the Concession Supervisor(s) and Director of Parks and Recreation during the seasonal period of April through October.
Requirements:EXAMPLES OF WORK
- Provides direct customer service to public guests
- Sells concession items to the general public.
- Estimates product and supplies needed and notifies supervisor
- Assists customers checking in or paying daily admission to the Oxford Aquatic Center
- Works as clerk, cashier, and slide attendant for concessions and admissions.
- Cleans and maintains areas in sanitary condition
- Observes necessary precautions for the safety of the public.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
Dependable, punctual, flexible with hours (AM, PM, weekends). Outgoing, courteous, enjoys working with, and displays appropriate professional manner towards people of all ages. Good social and communication skills exhibited in an appropriate manner. Proficient computer skills necessary. Prefer some experience in working with the public. Physically able to lift 25 lbs and perform required tasks. Willing to be trained in CPR and First Aid. Must be at least 16 years of age as of date of first employment.
