JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Duties:
Fox Cable Network Services, LLC seeks a Computer Systems Engineer (Infrastructure Engineer) to be responsible for building Fox's large-scale public-facing digital infrastructure and applications used by millions of users across web, mobile, and living room devices, and Fox's systems power marquee programming and events, such as World Series, Super Bowl, FIFA Women's World Cup, FIFA World Cup, Local and National Elections, Weather, and Breaking News. Work closely with multiple engineering teams and assist with the architecture and maintenance of Fox's cloud infrastructure and applications. Build and maintain secure and scalable cloud solutions for highly available digital services. Implement and maintain the infrastructure stack to improve availability, scalability, performance, security, resilience and efficiency. Build and integrate tools to automate operational processes for improved CI/CD infrastructure automation, capacity provisioning, cost and performance optimizations. Build and improve Fox's alerting and escalation mechanisms. Duties also involve balance availability, security, efficiency and functional requirements to help provide an optimized production service. Work with other engineering teams to drive projects in an Agile environment. Telecommuting is permitted up to 50%/week within normal commuting distance of Fox office in New York, NY.
Job Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, plus two (2) years of infrastructure engineering or related experience in network and Computer Systems administration, including experience providing first-line or second-line IT support; and performing technical analysis and troubleshooting of computer and server problems.
*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Scripting languages including Bash, Python and Nodejs; 2) Git, Github Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI, Docker, Fargate and Kubernetes; 3) DNS, TCPDUMP, HTTP, CDNs, SSL and Firewalls; 4) Networking concepts such as VPC, subnetting, ZeroTrust and NAT; 5) AWS including IAM, API Gateway, S3, Dynamodb, RDS, SQS, VPC, EC2, ECS, Lambda and Opensearch; and 6) Code tools such as Cloudformation, Terraform and Ansible
*Any level of knowledge, experience and/or coursework in the specific skills is acceptable.
Telecommuting is permitted up to 50%/week within normal commuting distance of Fox office in New York, NY.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $117,429.15-129,172.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
