Computer Science / Electrical Engineering Intern
As an Computer Science / Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work with the PacStar Hardware Engineering team on engineering tasks, board testing, and other tasks as assigned while gaining valuable experience. You will be mentored by one or more electrical engineers who will help you understand how our hardware is designed, developed, tested, and released.
Location: Portland OR
Your Challenge:
- Participate in design meetings with the Electrical Engineering and mechanical engineering teams
- Perform diagnostic testing on our hardware, to include data processing, transmission, and storage devices
- Support Engineering design and testing of network systems
Your Expertise:
- Current or previous educational program, prefer Computer /Electrical Engineering or related engineering field
- Able to write software in various languages to support scripts, computer set-up, BIOS, etc.
- Good writing and communication skills
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Strong work ethic
- The ability to lift and carry 35 pounds at least 40 feet
