Youth Instruction:
Conduct engaging computer science classes for Boys and Girls Club members using the provided curriculum.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for youth.
Webpage and Social Media Management:
Maintain and update the organization's website.
Manage social media accounts, ensuring relevant and engaging content.
Computer Resource Center Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Computer Resource center.
Design and create promotional flyers for club events and programs.
Handle document copying and other administrative tasks as needed.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other staff members to integrate technology into various club programs.
Coordinate with the education team to align computer science instruction with overall Youth Development goals.
Professional Development:
Stay informed about the latest developments in computer science education and technology trends.
Attend relevant training sessions or workshops to enhance instructional skills.
Previous experience in teaching or instructing youth.
Proficiency in webpage management and social media platforms.
Basic graphic design skills for creating promotional materials.
Familiarity with computer science concepts.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.32 - $13.89 per hour
