How you make a difference:
Under the general guidance of the Social Services Manager, our Computer Lab and Library Clerk is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our Computer Lab and small library. This position involves direct contact with our residents (persons-served) in a secure treatment facility. Scheduled work hours are 40 hours per week which will include the weekend requirement of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Computer Lab timeslots, maintain attendance log, and supervise residents' computer usage.
  • Provide assistance and basic computer training to residents as needed.
  • Monitor and manage resident usage of printing resources, ensuring equitable distribution.
  • Maintain the Computer Lab's cleanliness, orderliness, and functioning of equipment.
  • Manage library operations, including book inventory, check-ins/check-outs, shelving, and assisting residents in locating books.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
  • Minimum one (1) year experience years of clerical, administrative, library, or related experience
  • Thorough working knowledge of how to use a computer (Windows operating system)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Licenses/Certifications
  • None required.

  • Must adhere to compliance requirements from company, client, and accreditation bodies.
