- Assists students in the use of instructional software
- Sets up computer lab for daily use
- Orders and maintains supplies and materials needed for the use of instructional computer equipment
- Operates computers, peripheral equipment, and other related technology
- Assists students in the proper use of computer equipment and computer peripherals such as scanners, digital cameras, disk and zip drives
- Serves as liaison between building and district technology personnel
- Records use of technology lab equipment, student attendance, circulation of technology materials, and class sizes
- Schedules and tracks the use of computer equipment and the computer lab classrooms
- May be required to distribute identification codes and passwords to students
- Assists with maintaining equipment inventory
- Monitors students in the computer lab or other classes or locations in the building
- Knowledge and ability to operate PC’s and MacIntosh computers and peripheral equipment
- Ability to use technology to complete daily and assigned tasks appropriate for the position
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others
