Position Summary
Position Summary: The Compression Molder performs assigned work orders using Compression Molding Presses and various molds, ensuring end product is correct to end user specifications. If you enjoy a steady work flow, and the ability to work on a dynamic team, then this is for you!
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Prepare raw materials according to the Process Documents
- Obtain correct mold for assigned work order and set the press parameters according to the Process Document.
- Check material thickness, outside diameter, resistance, and fill out the Variable Data Sheets
- Record production information using Day by Hour Sheet which includes checking product every hour using verniers, ohm meters and snap gauges as required
- Clean and maintain work area such as cleaning molds and storing in their proper location while following Sustain Safety and 5S program
- Participate in High Performance Team in an assigned key focus group
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- US Citizen or have US Permanent Resident Status required
- Must be able to read and interpret work orders and blue prints
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multi-task
- Good comprehension and communication skills, manufacturing experience is a plus
