Duties:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and conditions
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders to replenish stock as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs and specifications
- Track and analyze market trends to make informed purchasing decisions
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information
- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- BBA in Materiel Management or realted field.
- Five years of proven experience as a Comprador(a) or in a similar purchasing role
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships with suppliers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Oracle.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Bilingual (Spanish- English)
