Shift: 2nd shift M-F 3pm - 11:30pm
Primary Responsibilities:
• Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information
• Process prescriptions
• Resolve customer issues; ensuring accurate information is provided
• Compounding IV Medications (if licensed)
• Working in a clean - room (if licensed)
• Pulling and staging the medications for compounding
• Using USP797 sterile guidelines
• Stocking medications
• Labeling and organizing medications and supplies
• Lifting up to 30 lbs. continuously
• Standing on feet for an 8-hour shift with breaks and lunch
• May include other duties as assigned by the PIC
Required Qualifications:
• High School Diploma / GED
• Pharmacy Technician licensing in the state of Texas
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
• ACPE Accredited Sterile Compounding License *there are multiple schools / programs that offer this. You do not need to run a license verification, however, please make sure the school is accredited and add the school /program name and cert info to resume
• Proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications including ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system application
Preferred Qualifications:
• Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience with CPR+
