Compliance Review Specialist

This position is responsible for reviewing worker certifications, analyzing insurance coverage, safety manual data, OSHA metrics and other customer-related records for vendors and staff performing work in the wireless telecommunications industry. Enters and updates records within the OneVizion proprietary Risk and Compliance platform and works with customers to review exceptions and resolve discrepancies. Possesses a moderate understanding and experience with evaluating insurance policies, safety manuals, OSHA metrics, risk assessments, and other data analysis. Works under a supervisor and with senior personnel.

The Compliance Review Specialist is located in Marietta, GA.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the main point of contact on insurance questions, coverage requirements, safety review data, OSHA metrics, EMR and Risk Assessments, and other general review data.
• Review vendor insurance documents to establish baseline requirements.
• Review and verify company information, diversity, licenses & certifications, sub-contractor use, and security screening.
• Review and verify vendor qualifications with their safety manual, training logs, accident/incident procedures, and EH&S compliance.
• Ongoing review of employee certifications and company insurance coverage compliance (i.e. expiration dates, updated COI’s).
• Perform annual review of vendor company information, insurance coverage, liabilities, diversity, licenses, certifications, safety manuals, training logs, accident/incident procedures ensuring they follow compliance guidelines.
• Process exceptions with supporting documentation.
• Keep track of collected data during the approval processes.
• Realize the importance of follow-up needed when documents are missing and/or corrections are needed then communicating within the established timeframe to the vendor and manager.
• May perform additional administrative and coordinator duties as needed.

Skill Requirements:

• Excellent attention to detail and judgment.
• Clear knowledge of Commercial Insurance Coverages: General Liability, Property, Workers’ Compensation, Automobile Liability, Umbrella, Professional Liability, Pollution/Environmental Liability, and Errors & Omissions.
• Clear knowledge of Safety and Safety Manuals, OSHA, and Risk Assessments
• Communicate effectively with vendors the needed compliance updates, responding appropriately in a timely manner to vendor and internal requests in a professional manner.
• Flexible and able to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills with proven ability to learn new software and platforms.
• Capable of working in an office and/or remote.
• Ability to show ownership of your work, take on challenges, and demonstrate patience when learning new processes.
• Courteous, respectful, and thoughtfulness in teaming with colleagues and other stakeholders.
• Willing and able to work 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime

Education Requirements:

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum 2+ year of insurance experience strongly preferred
• 3+ years related experience in data analysis, accounting, or similar position
• College degree in business, accounting, or similar preferred
