Position Summary Information
Job Goal
To ensure alignment with the College's mission and compliance with institutional policies, procedures, laws and external standards through regulatory review, policy/procedure development, and monitoring. Recommends best practices and provides education and training to support continuous quality improvement. Investigates complaints of regulatory and policy violations. 
Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary.

Under the supervision of the Executive Director for Risk Management assists with the development, initiation, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures for the College's compliance efforts and identifies, audits and monitors compliance risk areas.

Assist with the development, initiation, maintenance and revision of policies and procedures to prevent and monitor illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.

Assign, collect, review, organize, and coordinate compliance information utilizing a comprehensive software platform. 

Assist in the identification of potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk. Identify and communicate trends with the appropriate division or department.

Act as the primary contact for all sex offender registrants. 

Act as a Student Conduct Administrator and a Title IX Deputy Coordinator.

Attend professional development and training opportunities as deemed necessary by supervisor.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in health management, human resources or related field OR a minimum of 3 years' experience in compliance, health management or human resources required.
CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:
Must possess valid driver's license.
Essential Functions
Acts as a channel of communication to receive, direct and act upon compliance issues. A communication liaison concerning compliance matters with the Executive Director for Risk Management; Assume responsibility of the Executive Director for Risk Management in his/her absence.
