You're Excited About US Because You Will...
- Manage subordinate Finance team members in areas related to finance, financial reporting, internal controls, payroll/incentives, accounting, etc. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws including hiring, training team members, planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Create a working environment that promotes positivity, teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and team member satisfaction, while creating a culture of excellence in which all team members strive for maximum performance levels.
- Responsible for general accounting including month end closing and financial statement preparation. Post journal entries and review those made by other team members. Prepare the annual plan, budget, and forecasts throughout the year.
- Manage accounts payable and sign checks as needed.
- Monitor and approve all sales, purchases, salaries, and expenses of the property. Assist and counsel department heads in the interpretation of financial data and recommend courses of action to maximize profitability.
We're Excited About YOU Because...
- You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- You have five or more years of related and progressive accounting experience in a similar organization. Two years as a supervisor/manager in similar setting desired.
- You have strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- You are willing and able to work a varying schedule to reflect the business needs of the property. Work schedules include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts as needed.
- You complete all required training as scheduled. You maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor.
The expected salary range for this position is $90,000-$115,000. This salary range is based on this role being a 100% on-site position. The actual salary offered will be at the sole discretion of the company and determined by relevant experience, qualifications, and skillset of the final candidate. This role is eligible for health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401k, educational reimbursement, and paid time off, including vacation and sick leave.
