Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and makes recommendation on job analysis, and as need market research for pay changes using external market data and internal equity.
- Evaluates and approves current and new job descriptions and provides recommendations on job design, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) status, leveling and market value.
- Processes and administers bonus/incentive program for assigned client groups. Responsible for issue resolution, accuracy, and timeliness of bonus/incentive payments and compensation analysis requests.
- Collaborates with HR Business Partners and/or client organizations to ensure proper and consistent application of Compensation policies and programs.
- Participates in third-party compensation benchmarking surveys including policies and practices questionnaires, and Family Member compensation and pay data. Requires detailed knowledge of the organization’s jobs and compensation programs and philosophy.
- Works with the Compensation Manager to author the annual model development and implementation, including market analysis, cost estimates, and communication of plans.
- Researches state and federal wage (minimum wage) changes for hourly Family Members. Prepares and provides upload files to payroll related to pay or compensation.
- Participates and makes recommendations on Pay for Performance programs and bonus program plan design.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience required
Experience:
- 2 years directly related Compensation experience including consultation and compensation analysis
- Ability to communicate well with the general public and experience in establishing and maintaining an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers
- Ability to work in a team environment
- 4+ years’ experience with compensation analysis
Certifications:
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) Certification preferred
