Job Description
We are actively seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our compassionate team at our medical office in Frisco, TX. Our office is dedicated to providing comprehensive therapeutic services. As part of our team of counselors, you will focus on delivering individualized care, optimizing functioning, and promoting improvements in mental health, wellness, and overall patient well-being. Your role will involve providing psychotherapy and counseling therapies to individuals coping with a range of psychiatric and emotional challenges. Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Conduct individual therapy sessions with clients based on their needs and treatment plans.
- Assess clients through interviews, psychological evaluations, and other assessments tools.
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for clients, considering their specific needs and goals.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress during therapy sessions.
- Adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including sessions notes, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards for documentation.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and standards set forth by relevant professional organizations.
- Maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in times of acute distress.
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:
Hold a master’s degree, possess an active LPC, LPC-Associate, or LCSW license in Texas, and bring prior experience in mental health counseling or related fields. Demonstrate expertise in working with adult, an children and adolescent populations. Familiarity with community mental health resources, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to build trust with patients are essential. Strong leadership skills are also valued.
Note:
Applicants should be available for a minimum of 25 hours per week and willing to conduct therapy sessions on-site. All employees undergo background screening.
