Companion/Caregiver

```Job Overview:```
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers/Companions. As a Caregiver/Companion, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

```Duties:```
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Implement behavior management techniques for individuals with special needs

```Qualifications:```
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for them
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Background in social work, nursing, or a related field is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Patience, empathy, and compassion for others
- Previous experience in patient care or nursing home settings is beneficial
- Familiarity with direct support techniques and behavior management strategies
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $11.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
