JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Job Title: Community Training Coordinator
Salary: $23.03 hourly
Job Type: Full-time (Non-exempt)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
· Coordinate annual professional workshops: Cognitive Therapy-Suicide Prevention (CT-sp), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), Trauma Informed Care Training, Suicide Bereavement trainings
· Conduct and coordinate community and agency specific safeTALK & ASIST workshops
· Provide all scheduling and arrangements for training related activities Coordinate T4T Trainings: CAST, Sources of Strength, safeTALK and ASIST, post-suicide/Postvention.
· Design, prepare and utilize educational aids and materials.
· Outreach to potential target populations for various training topics.
· Develop evaluation forms for training participants to provide feedback on trainings.
· Develop consent to participate forms for youth and adults for all training workshops.
· Maintain updated curriculum database and training records for program reporting.
· Develop and maintain on-going professional relationships with training participants.
· Provide training budget to supervisor on direct cost of hosting training.
· Provides a marketing strategy for upcoming and new trainings.
· Participates in the organizational Quality Improvement Program through incident reporting and identifying opportunities for improvement. Advocates for Zero Suicide and integrated health care at NACA.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Bachelor’s degree in social work, education, counseling, public health and/or human services or related field and two (2) or more years of previous experience in direct Community Training environment; equivalent field with a combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position. This position is covered by Public Law 101-630, requiring contact or control over Indian children. Due to this requirement, the agency must ensure that persons hired for these positions have not been found guilty of or pleaded nolo contendere or guilty to certain crimes. Must be current with required immunization per the NACA HR Policies and Procedures and Infection Control Policy. A Level I Fingerprint Clearance, Basic Life Support Certification, and HIPAA Certification required. Possess a valid state Driver’s License. Must pass a background check in accordance with NACA policy.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITIES
· Knowledge in children’s mental health and related services system with demonstrated experience working with family systems, demonstrated ability to foster collaborative relationships
· Knowledge of the socio-economic, cultural and traditions of Native Americans
· Extensive knowledge in suicide prevention and educational training approaches and techniques
· Skills in coordinating multiple training events.
· Ability to complete a full training cycle such as assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Advanced organization skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
· Knowledge of various training and teaching methods.
· Excellent decision making and organizational skills.
· Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others.
