A&A Health Services is looking for an Community Relations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will help manage and direct the admissions process for new clients to our facility. Ideal candidates will live within a 45-minute drive from Modesto, CA.
A&A Health Services is striving to break the cycle of clients moving from crisis centers to housing instability and back to crisis centers. We provide transitional housing and resident centered care / wraparound services for clients suffering from mental health, addiction, and/or dual diagnosis. Candidates will need to be comfortable assessing clients suffering from these mental health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in person initial assessments of potential clients to determine their needs and eligibility for admission
- Conduct virtual initial assessments of potential clients to determine their needs and eligibility for admission
- Provide ongoing support to counties, clients and their families throughout the admissions process
- Coordinate with clinical staff to assure that clients are appropriate for the community
- Manage the admission process of each new client, ensuring that staff has client’s room ready before they arrive and communicating with all departments to prepare for the new admission.
- Facilitate client admission orientation program and provide clients with an admission information packet.
- Maintain accurate records of all admissions activities
- Maintain an accurate record of available beds and a resident waiting list.
- Perform various other duties as needed
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous health care Community Relations experience preferred.
- Able to deal tactfully with internal and external personnel, residents, and visitors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, as admission/marketing responsibilities may dictate.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
