Duties and Responsibilities:
The Community Patrol is responsible for the following tasks: Friday and Saturday night ONLY- 7:00PM-3:00AM
Provide a patrolled environment for the residents by making rounds every hour. Time documentation is required for all activities.
Keep a nightly log of all activities & provide for Park Manager, Maintenance and Board review.
Cart Safety rules must be followed always. Cart is always to be parked and stored overnight in the garage at the Community Center.
Document and report any type of suspicious behavior to the office or notify the police, if needed. Immediately report incidents to P.P. Supervisor and escalate, if needed, to Maintenance Supervisor, Manager and/or Board President. Police are to be called for any emergency situation.
Assist residents in emergency situations; document all actions; including cart ride when needed.
Check for outside and inside lighting repairs, document repairs on activity sheet.
Document violations to park policies and procedures for management follow up.
Check vehicles parked in common areas overnight without a visitor's tag, ticket or post notice; report vehicle ID. Enter locked compound every two hours to ensure all is secure.
Lock back gate and buildings at appropriate hours
Lock & secure all doors /windows at the common area of the property.
Education or work Experience
Must have and maintain a valid Florida driver's license to operate golf and the association truck. THE LOSS OF DRIVER'S LICENSE WILL RESULT IN IMMEDIATE TERMINATION.
Ability to maintain positive, cordial, businesslike relationships with residents always.
Ability to work cooperatively with staff members and residents.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
High school diploma or GED required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with RPM's internal procedures and policies as well as all related employee handbooks and training/safety manuals.
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions, with full use of limbs & extremities, and unimpaired vision - within ADA guidelines for reasonable accommodations.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with RPM policies and procedures.
Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
