Community Outreach Specialist

Brave Wings Therapy, is a pediatric private practice located in Fairfield and Andover, NJ. We specialize in Speech, Feeding, Occupational, and ABA Therapy. We pride ourselves on hiring clinicians and administrative staff who work well together in order to provide exceptional care through every step of the therapeutic process.

We are anticipating a large expansion for our Andover location and plan to transition to Sparta by the middle of this year. With this expansion, we hope to service many more children in our community. We are currently seeking a highly motivated professional who is knowledgeable about healthcare, has excellent communication skills, and is able to visit nearby clinics. The position is for a Part-Time Community Outreach Coordinator, Monday thru Thursday 9 AM - 3 PM, who will initiate relationships with surrounding providers such as doctors, private practitioners, school administrators, etc., in order to obtain referral sources. If you are a very cheerful and an outgoing individual who loves talking to people, this position is perfect for you! We will provide the training.

Responsibilities include:

• Initiate contact with local doctors’ offices to develop referral relationships
• Coordinate schedules and set up meetings for clinic owners to meet with possible referring sources
• Maintain open communication with potential referral sources
• Maintain detailed notes from interactions with potential referral sources in order to help strengthen relationships
• Demonstrate proficient communication skills
• Maintain a productive work schedule
• Be proficient in working with computer programs (Tech savvy)
• Generate daily detailed records of all communications and interactions`

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
