Community Land Planner

Land Planner - Home Building

We are seeking a new team member to deliver smooth planning and approval of land projects for our new home communities. You will have the opportunity to plan out all aspects of these communities for homeowners to enjoy for decades to come.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct research and gather data on land use, zoning regulations, and environmental impact assessments
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to develop land use plans and designs
- Represent the company in public and private meetings regarding annexation, rezoning, and preliminary development plan approvals.
- Utilize GIS software to analyze spatial data and create maps for land planning projects
- Use CAD software to create detailed site plans and layouts
- Assist in the preparation of environmental impact statements and other regulatory documents
- Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related to land use planning
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and potential impacts of proposed developments

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of environmental law and regulations
- Software experience with GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans
- Excellent research and analytical skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
