Job Summary
The role of the Community Engagement Manager is responsible for leading all efforts of the Ramsey County OPUS Coalition; including: prevention education, special events, Ramsey County relationships, and state-wide relationships. Additionally, this role is responsible for supporting contract duties and sustainability planning. Overall, this role is responsible for oversight of all Community Engagement activities of MnPRA. This is a highly visible role both internally and externally and requires significant communication, collaboration, and diplomacy with strategic partners, community leaders, government officials, etc.

- Community Engagement
- Manages Ramsey County OPUS Coalition
- Oversees budget, reporting, and evaluations
- Develops and leads steering committee and work groups
- Leads communication strategy including monthly meetings, social media, and newsletters
- Acts as state-wide Coalition consultant in implementing the Drug Free Communities (DFC) Framework and youth peer support
- Actively represents MnPRA in meetings, professional trainings, media interviews, and conferences
- Manages Ramsey County OPUS Coalition
- Brand standards and communications
- Partner with communications team to refine and maintain brand identity across all channels
- Monitor websites, social media, program materials, and messaging to ensure continued continuity
- Develop, implement, and execute Community Engagement plans to engage individuals in need of prevention and recovery resources

Required Skills & Experience (Minimum Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the prevention & recovery field; including, volunteering, marketing, communications, strategic planning, and grant writing
- Lived experience regarding substance use and recovery. Note that lived experience may include being impacted by a family member, or any other effects of substance misuse
- Demonstrated high degree of professionalism and integrity, as well as ability to take decisive action in the face of ambiguous information – builder
- Excellent communication skills; ability to speak publicly and prepare presentations; able to influence others to achieve set goals
- Action oriented and advancement minded (entrepreneurial) mindset
