Summary of Position: Western Technical College is in need of a part time childcare provider at the Schuh Mullen Homes and Huber Homes Boys and Girls Clubs. A childcare provider is needed on premise during events and/or independent student study time. Parents will remain on site for assistance when necessary. Hours will vary but should total to 3-5 hours each week.
Essential Functions
Childcare Supervision - Supporting Action/Task May Include:

• Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing approach.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities and games to keep children occupied.
• Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child's experiences and any concerns.
• Ensure each new parent/child receives and signs appropriate documents/waivers.
• Adapt quickly to meet the needs of various children and create a welcoming atmosphere for all.
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism while interacting with children and families.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

• High School/GED Education
• Knowledge of working with young children
