Job Description
As a C2 intern, you'll engage with diverse clients, not just shadow our team. Gain hands-on experience, build your portfolio, and receive coaching from seasoned professionals with decades of journalism and communications expertise. Previous interns have successfully transitioned to roles in communications firms, government agencies, news outlets, and nonprofits.
Applicants must supply:
- A cover letter detailing communications experience and interests
- Resume
- A portfolio or at least two writing samples
- Case study, if available
Qualified candidates will have any combination of the following skills and a minimum 3.0. GPA:
- Writing and editing following AP style
- Social media
- Digital marketing/advertising
- Photography or Photojournalism
- Proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Web design and content management
Education and training requirements:
- A rising junior, senior, or graduate student studying Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related academic program with an anticipated graduation date of no later than Summer 2026.
- Cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher required
Work expectations/environment
- Work full-time for 8 weeks from June to early August
- Must have reliable transportation and work onsite at 9000 Keystone Crossing, Suite 502
Indianapolis, IN 46240 - Normal office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with an hour for lunch, Monday through Friday.

Pay: $16.50 per hour (Non-exempt)
