JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for writing, editing, proofing and coordinating design and production of a variety of audience-targeted communications; performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations; coordinating special events and programs; managing information by researching, organizing, tracking and reporting data and other information; interacting with employees at all levels of the organization, as well as vendors, to produce turnkey/cost-effective communications that meet client expectations. This is a hybrid position.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications OR 4 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of internal communications and distribution systems.
- Interpersonal skills to work with all levels of management.
- Project management, customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects in an environment of urgent and shifting deadlines.
- PC proficiency to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
- At least two years’ writing experience
- AP writing experience, good proofreading and editing skills.
- Able to receive constructive feedback and use it to improve future communications.
- Experience planning and coordinating special events and projects.
- Experience using a variety of social media platforms.
- Experience creating and sharing engaging social media content.
- Writing samples will be requested.
