Communications Champ

We are seeking a modern communications gift in someone who loves Jesus and is able to engage our followers in sytematic ways. Our growing multi-generational church of 250 has increasing communications channels and demands. This social media manager will primarily schedule social posts & maximize engagement. You will also upload graphics across platforms - Website, APP, & newsletter. Ideally this is an 8-Hour role: Staff Mtng/Clarity (3), Social Scheduling (3), APP/Web/Other (2). We want a teammate hungry for impact who can raise consistency, take us to new levels, & free up our Pastors.

· Schedule out Social media posts to greatly increase engagement on our FB & Insta. A consultant trained us but because of growth we have limited bandwidth to carry it out.

· Capture the ‘life of the church,’ relationships, & God-things so that posts are not ‘stock’ marketing feel.

· Increase traffic to the church FB page & Website through likes, invites, interaction with others.

· Upload artwork & verbiage to our Subsplash APP (easy – we will train)

· Execute our “Promo Queue” so that key Communications items or timelines don’t get dropped. We chart out Queues every 2 weeks, so everyone knows what goes in every channel & when!

· Create/edit highly engaging content like mini videos, quotes or interviews, “trip to the KidZone”, highlight clips of a Message or ministry, etc.

· Learn best Social practices from thriving ministries & top training. Give input to take our Website from good to great!

· Possibly assist in rebranding (Logo changeover) over Summer

· Contribute to a great spirit on the Staff Team while sharpening & aligning our message & stories.

Local talent that can carve out two hours Tuesday mornings looks ideal. However, this position could be fully remote with an excellent match to skills, passion, & experience.
