Job description

Join the Bandon Dunes team as a Common Grounds Gardener and play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty of our Staff Housing area. With a blend of skill, care, and passion, you'll utilize a variety of tools to maintain and cultivate the landscapes surrounding our Staff Housing area. Whether you're pruning, planting, or ensuring the pristine condition of your equipment, your work will directly contribute to our community's living environment.

About Bandon Dunes Golf Resort:
Bandon Dunes is a world-class golf resort located on the Oregon Coast near the charming community of Bandon. Guests come to experience golf as it was meant to be at Bandon Dunes' six distinct golf courses. That includes five 18-hole courses, which all rank among the top 16 public courses in the United States, according to Golf Digest. The resort is also home to an award-winning par-3 course, Bandon Preserve. A second par-3 course, Shorty's, will open in 2024. The two short courses are 'Courses with a Mission,' with all net proceeds funding the Bandon Dunes Charitable Foundation. The Foundation supports communities along the South Coast of Oregon.
Beyond premier golf, guests delight in a variety of dining options at Bandon Dunes' collection of restaurants. Whether you're looking to enjoy locally-sourced, Pacific-Northwest cuisine accompanied by an award-winning wine list, or prefer kicking back in a Scottish-style setting with traditional pub fare and local microbrews, there is something for everyone.

Working at Bandon Dunes is a dream for golf fans, outdoor enthusiasts, and hospitality professionals alike. The Bandon Dunes team works together to create trips of a lifetime for our guests. We are passionate stewards of our resort, our community, and our environment. As an endlessly curious group, we ask questions, share ideas, and always look for a better way. With a hard-working attitude, we help guide our guests through their pure golf experience, immersed in Oregon's natural beauty and away from the demands of daily life.

  • Landscape Mastery: You'll maintain the botanical aesthetic of our Staff Housing using a range of tools, from a trowel to buzzing power equipment. Your days will be filled with weeding, planting, pruning, and more as you shape the natural beauty of our grounds.
  • Equipment Stewardship: Treat your tools with respect. Inspect, clean, adjust, and report on them. Your care ensures their longevity and effectiveness.
  • Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of maintenance and fluid usage. Your logs are the roadmap to our equipment's health and efficiency.
