Commodity Trader Associate

As a Commodity Trader Associate, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in the fuel commodities market by assisting the president, client managers and traders with day to day activities.

Candidate will need to be located in the Northeast. This position will eventually be remote, however initial training will require presence in the office. Once the candidate is trained and proven to handle all responsibilities, there will be intermittent in-office requirements.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supporting the daily physical trade executions, which involve liaising with suppliers, customers, and the operations team.
• Engaging in contract establishment, managing positions, and handling accounts receivable communications.
• Creation and distribution of client newsletter
• Cultivating strong relationships with existing suppliers and customers.
• Communicating the status of trades with suppliers, vendors, and customers.
• Maintaining open communication with fellow team members to ensure the smooth execution of trades.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• University / College degree preferred.
• 2-4 years trading experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
