As Commissioning Technician, you will be responsible for;
- Utilize expertise in reading wiring diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Employ programming tools such as Diagnostic Link, CAN tools, and others to program proto build ECU's.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting of vehicles using Digital Multimeters (DMMs) and Oscopes as needed.
- Identify and replace defective or malfunctioning components within the automotive systems.
- Perform repairs and additions to wiring terminals when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Design Engineering to gather parameters and assist in troubleshooting processes.
- Write and track issues using project management tools like Jira and other documentation programs.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure full vehicle functionality.
Qualifications;
- Demonstrate creativity, strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Work effectively as a team player with a keen attention to detail.
- Possess excellent documentation skills.
- Knowledge of programming tools such as Diagnostic Link or similar.
- Familiarity with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Preferred experience with Vector CAN tools such as CANape, CANoe, and CANalyzer.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field is required.
Salary Range: $65,000 - $70,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.
