Qualifications of Commercial/Industrial Manufacturing Electrician:
Knowledge of 277-480 voltz circuits
Minimum High School Diploma or GED (Minimum three years of experience in industrial/manufacturing electrical work)
Spanish Speaking required (Bi-Lingual a Plus)
Controls/Instrumentation knowledge and experience
Must have a high proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing process/machine upsets and sensor/electrical malfunctions in order to keep machine downtime to a minimum
Electrical safety and arc flash knowledge is a must (OSHA training/certifications a plus)
Knowledge of electrical application for high and low voltage electric systems
Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade
Ability to handle multiple projects
Must be detail oriented and flexible
Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, climb, and walk on a continuous basis.
Good vision capabilities and good communication skills
- Must be able to stand at least 8 hours per day
Preferred Skills:
Controls/Instrumentation design & installation
Technical degree, college degree or certifications/licenses is a plus
Mechanical skills such as welding, machining and fabrication are a plus
Good experience with PLC programming and ladder logic
AC/DC circuits, motors and controllers including servo drive systems, preferred

Job Summary:
Troubleshoots, repairs, maintains, and installs wiring, PLC's, regulators, conveyors, motor controllers, motors, transformers, generators, variable frequency drives, vacuums, lighting, gear boxes, chains, vacuum systems, tanks, and other electrical and mechanical systems. Working conditions include restricted movement, dirty environment, hazardous materials, lifting and carrying heavy objects. Employee performs highly skilled electrical and mechanical maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting work.
Industrial Manufacturing Electrician Major Job Responsibilities (not all inclusive):
Know and comply with all safety policies and procedures, as well as local codes and regulations
Inspecting wiring for proper shielding and ground and troubleshoots 277-480/600 systems and PLC panels/programs
Report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplace
Ensures operation of electrical and mechanical equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all electrical systems within the plant to include palletizing equipment, pneumatics and hydraulics, conveying equipment, blowers, mill equipment, product formers/packers, weighing systems, Checkweighers, Inkjet printers, photo eyes, limit switches, proximity switches, metal detectors, etc.
Observe installed equipment or systems to detect hazards that may need adjustments, repairs, or replacement
Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
Installs conduit, disconnects, push buttons, switches, motor starters, relays, timers, circuit breakers, distribution systems and pulls wire
Uses hand tools, power tools, electrical tools and electronic test equipment, as well as working knowledge of instrumentation calibration
Responsible for completing weekly/daily assigned preventative maintenance tasks for the machinery and facility
Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies
Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Notify Supervisor concerning the need for repairs to plant equipment or any unusual conditions
Ability to think clearly and troubleshoot/repair production equipment during time-sensitive outages
Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work space
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
Available Shifts:
1st Shift 6:30am - 3:00pm
2nd Shift 3:30pm - 10:00pm
3rd Shift 10:30pm - 6:00am
Compensation:
Negotiable Depending On Experience
