We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and instruction to new and existing Truck Drivers on the safe and efficient operation of trucks. The Truck Driver Trainer will also be responsible for evaluating drivers' performance, providing feedback, and ensuring that all safety regulations are followed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in truck driving, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Train new Truck Drivers in the safe operation of commercial vehicles.
- Provide instruction on defensive driving techniques and safety regulations.
- Conduct road tests to evaluate the performance of new drivers.
- Conduct classroom instruction on topics such as vehicle maintenance, trip planning, and hours of service regulations.
- Maintain records of driver training activities.
- Provide feedback to drivers on their performance and suggest areas for improvement.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
