We are currently seeking applicants for a Commercial Leasing Officer.
Qualified Candidates responsibilities are:
- Cultivate business by developing business relationships with end-users and equipment vendors and maintaining those relationships.
- Process credit applications by evaluating credit, providing financial statement analysis and documentation for credit submission, within or above current credit limits.
- Manage credit risk and ensure the protection and safety of all bank and lease assets.
- Maintain lease portfolio at level satisfactory to Bank Management
- Provide good communication and business relationship with internal personnel and Bank Management
- Provide quality customer service and promote goodwill.
- Maintain and monitor lease portfolio delinquency.
- Research vendor options within parameters of acceptable industries
- Attend trade shows and meetings in order to meet and network with business leaders.
- Other projects/duties as assigned by supervisor.
Candidates must also have knowledge in:
- Banking, familiarity with finance industry, with emphasis on equipment financing or commercial lending
- Gathering and analyzing data and providing feedback to the bank
- Effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, co-workers, and customers
- Displaying professionalism with customers and bank personnel
- Organizing activities and handling multiple tasks simultaneously
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university in a business-related subject or one to two years of related leasing and banking experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic keyboarding skills and the ability to navigate in a Windows environment.
This position reports to the Chief Lending Officer.
