Job Description
Responsibilities
- Work in collaboration with Sr. Designers to develop efficient food service concepts.
- Produce accurate SD, DD, and CD document sets using company standards and guidelines.
- Assemble equipment lists and specifications using equipment quoting software.
- Effectively communicate with Architects, Engineers, and Client Team to translate conversations into accurate meeting minutes and changes within design documents.
- Maintain project schedule set by Sr. Designer.
- Work with manufacturer’s representatives to assemble preliminary shop drawings and budget pricing for custom fabricated equipment.
- Create custom models of fabricated equipment as well as edits to manufactured equipment.
- Assist project management team during construction, including checking shop drawings, change order review, and answering RFIs.
Qualifications
- Ability to learn REVIT 3D modeling software - working knowledge of Revit & CAD preferred.
- Two years experience in architectural design or 5+ years experience in commercial/institutional kitchen production or management
- Strong organizational and communications skills and a desire to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Humble, creative person with a desire to learn in every situation.
- Working experience with Dropbox, MS Teams, Excel, Word, AutoQuotes, and Bluebeam is preferred.
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience related to the points above.
