Job Description

Commercialization Specialist

NativePath seeks an experienced Commercialization Specialist to join our Product Development Team! This person will be responsible for all aspects of the product development process. This role will ensure the successful launch and support of all wellness supplements and paleo-based food products, including but not limited to coordinating the design and development of new products and changes to existing products. This position will provide cross-functional execution and support that drives business performance and optimizes business processes between multiple departments (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Demand/Production Planning, Product Development, and Brand Marketing) to ensure all aspects of the product development process are timely and accurately managed in accordance with the company’s internal and external customers. If you are goal-oriented, organized, and health-conscious, we invite you to contribute your expertise to our mission of guiding people on the path to eating, moving, and living in harmony with their biology.

Who are we:
We’re firm believers that the Standard American Diet is the pitfall to several of the preventable health conditions arising in our society today (including heart disease, diabetes, and neurological disorders). That’s why we created NativePath—a health & wellness company that blends Ancestral Wisdom with Modern Science to offer over 30 different supplements, monthly wellness challenges, and free courses to restore and reset people's health. Since 2017, over 1 million people have gotten “On The Path” with us and, by doing so, have reversed pain, renewed energy, and aged more gracefully.

We provide a rewarding, collaborative, and exciting work environment that is focused on personal growth, with weekly company-wide culture calls hosted by our leaders designed to foster team spirit, encourage movement, and build our community. This year, the entire company was flown to a ranch in Tucson, AZ, for team-building activities and had a blast while doing it!

If the above resonates with you, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in optimizing processes between Operations, Product Development, Supply Chain, and demand planning.
  • Plan, manage, and execute trial runs with Product Development
  • Manage projects according to marketing calendar timelines and deliverables
  • Prioritize and support product development initiatives, ensuring that processes and data are comprehensive, accurate, and consistent.
  • Work closely with the Product Development team to streamline workflows and optimize research outputs.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Food Safety Departments to validate and ensure the accuracy of information related to product development.
  • Implement measures to guarantee adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in developing and implementing corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Strong project management capabilities, with experience using Monday.com or other similar software.
  • Proven experience in commercialization and product development integration within the health/wellness supplements and food industries.
  • Thorough knowledge of quality standards, food safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with the stage gate process is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and regulatory affairs.
  • Strong computer literacy and math proficiency; ability to work with conversions, percentages, fractions, and convert units of measure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey quality-related information clearly and concisely.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, effectively adapting to changes and challenges.
