The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for tire related service, and repair for commercial, agricultural, off the road, and industrial tires.
Primary Responsibilities
- Dismount and mount tires and wheels
- Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
- Attaching and re-balancing wheels
- Flat tire diagnosis, repair, and valve stem replacement
- Clean tires and check for crack or items that will interfere with wheel torque
- Perform daily service calls on-site at customer locations
- Respond as needed to roadside assistance calls
- Run service routes in the best interest of the customer and company
- Perform fleet tire inspections to include bump checks

- Basic computer skills, including word processing, email, and database management
- Ability to operate hand, power, and air tools
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to read analyze and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively to groups of customers or employees of an organization
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Qualifications
- 1 year work related experience
- Forklift certification or ability to become certified
- TIA certification or ability to become certified
- Must have a good attitude and the ability to work in a faced paced environment
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
