Beacon is a Fortune 500 company with over 580 locations in all US states and six Canadian provinces. As an E-Commerce customer service rep is to serve front-line to our customers all aspects of Beacon's E-Commerce offering. Such offerings include ability to purchase online and track deliveries for construction jobs. This role will require excellent listening skills and solve problems and issues. They will be part of an exciting team and play an integral role in how we transform our existing customers relationships.

What You Will Be Working On:
 

• Develop strong understanding of Beacon eCommerce platform and the benefits to customers and internal employees
• Respond timely and accurately to customers via phone, email, and chat in a timely and accurate manner
• Listen closely to customer inquiries in order to ensure accurate understanding of problem
• Troubleshoot customer & internal employee inquiries and reach for help within eCommerce when needed
• Partner with local branches and other departments to solve customer queries, when needed
• Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved
• Provide training of eCommerce platform for customers and internal employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

What You Will Need to Be Successful in This Role:  
 

• Bachelors or Associates Degree preferred
• Delightful disposition and superior listening skills
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail
• Exceptional multi-task capability, while always ensuring customer is top priority
• Adept with technology (i.e., online ordering, online account management)
• Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and communication skills 
• Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline
• Ability to work both independently and in a team setting
