As a Remodel Technician you will be responsible for:
- Demolition.
- Using power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
- Hanging kitchen and bathroom cabinetry.
- Performing basic hardware installation.
- Performing basic electrical work to include installing light fixtures, light switches, and outlets.
- Performing basic plumbing to include installing sinks, faucets etc.
- FT, year-round work Monday-Friday daytime hours.
- Provide a professional, courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
- Help provide a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Assure safety standards are used which comply with all federal, state, city, and company guidelines.
- Helping our Building Maintenance Technicians during the slower times.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Remodel Technician Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in construction and remodeling.
- Willingness to learn new skills and ask questions.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Must pass Kari Koskinen Manager Background Check after acceptance of job offer.
Special Requirements:
Occasional: Lifting of 50-100 pounds.
Frequent: Lifting of 25-50 pounds.
Constant: Lifting of 5-20 pounds.
Standing, sitting, squatting, bending, and occasional climbing.
License/Certification:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and the ability to drive between jobsites throughout the Twin Cities for this position.
