Job Description
C&C Industrial is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager responsible for managing all aspects of Commercial Projects from inception to completion. This role involves overseeing the planning, design, and execution of a project, as well as managing the project team and ensuring that the project is delivered within the allocated time, budget, and quality standards.
Job Functions:
Meet with clients to discuss their HVAC and plumbing needs and present proposals for new projects.
Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
Identify & obtain the permits needed for the project by reviewing local building codes, zoning regulations, and other applicable laws.
Prepare internal & external reports relating to job status, daily progress, estimates, and deliverables.
Forecast, schedule, & monitor manpower.
Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure that designs meet client requirements and are compliant with building codes and regulations.
Oversee the installation and testing of HVAC and plumbing systems, ensuring that they meet project specifications and are functioning properly.
Follow up on any required warranty work and maintain contact to ensure client satisfaction.
Manage project budgets and control costs through effective resource allocation and risk management.
Uphold compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress against the project plan, compliance, workmanship, and safety.
Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and senior management.
Resolve any issues that arise during the project, including conflicts between stakeholders, scope changes, and technical problems.
Ensure that all project documentation is accurate and up to date, including drawings, specifications, and processing of change orders.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure that the project is delivered effectively and efficiently in accordance with the agreed budget, timeline, and quality and exceeds the client’s expectations.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Must have 5-7 years of experience in construction project management.
• Knowledge of HVAC & Plumbing systems, building products, relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• Ability to read & understand blueprints.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Solid knowledge of the construction process
• Computer Ease experience a plus
