Commercial Plumber

Stryker Heating, Cooling & Plumbing, Inc. is experiencing rapid growth within its plumbing department and is seeking Commercial Plumbers with experience to join our team. We work throughout the counties (and surrounding areas) of Hunterdon, Somerset, Warren, and Morris of New Jersey in addition to some areas of Eastern Pennsylvania.

We are currently hiring Commercial Plumbers.

• Arrive to work and to each job site on time, every day. (Our normal hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00AM-3:30PM. We do our best to limit overtime, but on occasion it is necessary as emergencies arise.)
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies
• Adhere to current codes and regulations as applicable to the work being performed

Plumbing Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Install new plumbing system and fixtures for new commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Adhere to current codes and regulations in relation to all plumbing so that that systems will pass inspection and are installed according to plans/specs.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and properly diagnose issues, if they arise, with the plumbing systems that are installed by the Stryker team.
• Complete full rough and finish of waste, vent, water, storm, gas, compressed air, and other piping systems from the ground up.
• Coordinate in-field installations with other trades and project management on commercial job sites.

Plumbing Service TechnicianQualifications:

• 5+ years of in-field experience preferred.
• Must have the capacity to comprehend schematic diagrams, blue prints, and other specifications.
• Strong familiarity with codes, laws, and regulations as related to the plumbing field.
• Master plumbers license a plus, but not required
• Good understanding and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise (leaks, malfunctioning equipment, etc.)
• Ability to work primarily independently, but also as part of a team.
• Must have great communication skills, especially on a technical level.
• Excellent organizational skills a must.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
