Overview: As a Commercial Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the pest-free environment of our commercial clients. You will execute pest management strategies, conduct inspections, and apply appropriate treatments to eliminate and prevent pest infestations in various commercial settings. At Assured Audit Pest Prevention we focus solely on audited food grade manufacturing, warehouse and distribution facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspections of commercial premises to identify pest infestations and assess the extent of the problem.
- Develop and implement customized pest management plans based on inspection findings.
- Apply pesticides and other control measures using safe and effective techniques.
- Install Pest Control devices, such as traps and baits, and recommend structural modifications to prevent future infestations.
- Communicate with clients to explain findings, recommended treatments, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided, including inspection reports and treatment plans.
- Follow safety protocols and regulations while handling and applying chemicals and pesticides.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in Pest Control.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Pest Control is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Pest Control Technician or similar role in a commercial setting.
- Knowledge of pest behavior, biology, and control methods.
- Familiarity with pesticide safety and application techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments and weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
